I haven’t been a very good blogger lately. Mostly because I’ve been under the weather and haven’t had much motivation to complete half finished projects, make dinner or even clean up the house. I don’t like feeling lazy, but I think sometimes we just need that time to gather ourselves back together and get healthy.
So this morning, I decided it was time to catch up with you all and write a blog!
A few months ago, (I know - months!), I found this beautiful mid-century modern piece at the thrift store for $40. It’s pretty heavy duty. I could barely help my husband lift it out of truck. There were tons of nicks and gashed out of the wood, but the hardware and style had so much potential.
I made sure to give the item a good sand and used wood filler to hide the nicks. Then, I spray painted with Rust Oleum’s Heirloom White, (one of my favorite colors), and gave it a few poly coats. Check out results!
