I know a lot of people are facing snow and storms this winter, but Phoenix has been absolutely perfect, and it's days like these that we draw on and remember during the long, hot summer.
Max and I have been spending hours outside playing with the dog bowls, weeding the flower beds, taking mud baths and watching Daddy and Uncle build the laundry room.
This is where the "laundry room" is now - on the back patio
Then a really big tree fell on the back patio, and we decided it might be a good idea to get the washer and dryer off the back porch, and into it's own space. Plus, we are finally getting our backyard ready for spring and spending time outdoors, and we thought it would be really nice to not have to throw a sheet over the washer and dryer when we have guests.
This weekend Husband and my amazing brother in law started construction on the laundry room and I am giddy with excitement. It didn't seem like I would ever have a place to do laundry, much less a whole space for additional storage, and I think this room is going to be adorable! I have been glued to Pinterest, looking for ideas on play areas for Max and cozy porch layouts. I am so excited and so proud of these guys for putting in such long hours so we can have a laundry room.
Getting there! Two walls are already up!
